Even our foundational inspiration as a restaurant would seem to recommend us nicely for elegant group dining and special events. We derive our culinary focus and some of our aesthetic sense from the legacy of Jacqueline LaBelle, a Philadelphia heiress born to French parents who cut a striking image in her fur-lined wardrobe, glittering jewelry, and kohl-highlighted eyes. LaBelle threw lavish soirees for Philadelphian high society at her Rittenhouse Square mansion, treating her guests to top-shelf French fare and refreshments and ensuring hers were most assuredly the parties to be at (and to be seen at) in town.
