National Happy Hour Day at aMuse Philadelphia
One of the happiest of National Days is just around the corner and aMuse happens to be a truly fantastic place to mark it in the City of Brotherly Love.
We’re referring to National Happy Hour Day, which you may or may not have been aware does exist. It falls on Monday, November 12th, so make plans to dutifully observe this special occasion with us here at aMuse, home to a French-flavored Philadelphia Happy Hour that can’t be beat!
National Happy Hour Day
People have undoubtedly been celebrating Happy Hour in one form or another since just about Day One: at least since we discovered the fermented joys and conviviality of alcohol. According to National Today, the more modern, formalized roots of Happy Hour may extend back to Prohibition days, when pre-dinner imbibing became a commonplace way to keep your enjoyment of adult beverages under wraps, while the tradition owes its contemporary name to a custom of evening socializing begun in the US Navy.
For the past few years, anyhow, Happy Hour has been graced (like just about everything else) with its own National Day, but as devoted fans—and facilitators—of the phenomenon, we’re happy to get behind it.

Here at aMuse, we offer our very own top-grade Happy Hour seven days a week: Monday to Friday from 5 to 7 PM, Saturday and Sunday from noon to 2 PM. So on Nov. 12th, you’ve got three beautiful hours during which to celebrate National Happy Hour Day at our French bistro-style restaurant at Le Méridien Philadelphia!
We’ve got quite the arsenal of hand-crafted Specialty Cocktails celebrating our sundry muses—from Little Red Bus for Amelia Earhart to Wishful Drinking for Carrie Fisher—as well as, of course, a trio of Signature Cocktails honoring our Muse of Muses, the Philadelphia heiress and glamorous socialite Jacqueline LaBelle.
Then there’s our crowd-pleasing array of imported and domestic beers, our refined wine list, and our comprehensive spread of spirits.
Throw in Chicken Liver Mousse, Sliders, Moules au Saffron, Potted Trout, and other delectable bar plates, and you’ve got all the makings for a very happy time at the aMuse bar.
